I'm chuckling reading some of these. Dh gets aggravated when I accidentally lock him out of the house. It's just a habit now to throw the deadbolt when I close the door.
I do leave a key with my neighbor, as I don't trust myself to hide my key in a place that a BG can't think up.

Do you keep your doors locked at home?

Unless we're grilling outside or doing yard work and going in-and-out, I keep my doors locked at home. 50% of crime happens during the day. I've had several friends tell me, "yeah, but I'm sitting right here watching t.v. I'll see them if they come in the front door."
My argument is that I don't want them GETTING through the front door. And if they do, I want it to be obvious to the police that they busted in before I shot them.

Just curious.. do you lock doors?
