Different levels though, State collecting from City....collecting from us. So either way we lose.
Disagree on losing… it's our tax money moving from one entity to another. It's already been paid, but that movement of money would resolve the issue of the improper and now illegal signs on public land.

Another note that nobody discusses or really knows is the word "militia" in the 2A…

People today assume it means an organized, somewhat paramilitary group that people signed up for or enlisted with, etc.

It doesn't and it didn't. In their day, that word was clear to them to mean "everybody" or essentially every able-bodied person who could fight. There was no formal militia as we think of it today. It was just 'we the people' who were the militia… everybody.
