Looking at the scores, I think you shot very well, second time, or not.
And, I know what you mean about becoming familiar enough with the routine of IDPA to be able to concentrate on the shooting. On the second stage, where we had to shoot 6 targets -
1. Near to far
2. Alternating right side /left side
3. 3 Strings
-1 Freestyle
-1 Strong hand
-1 Weak hand
I somehow mentally added one more requirement - I thought they all had to be head shots as well. Nothing like making things harder than they have to be.
Oh, well. Still had a great time, and am enjoying getting to know some of the folks out there.
I got confused on the dogs. I didn't shoot them in order, and just kept going back and forth. I didn't keep track of which target I had shot already, so I was all over the place. It was pretty funny to watch because I shot way too many rounds as a result. He finally asked, "Done yet?" :)
