I've produced my DD214 at multiple Home Depots and gotten the 10% off. I've heard that Lowes is a by store policy.
A little off the topic of the CHL fee for Veterans but that question is answered. Honorably Discharged and got my CHL fee discount. I wish I wouldn't have procrastinated though. If you apply within a year of being discharged, than the fee is waived I believe. Last I heard/read.
