I bought 1,000 rounds of .45 ACP from them and have shot 200 rounds through my new Kimber with no issues. I researched before buying at a gun show and could find nothing but positive comments. The price was good, but given how much fun it is to shoot this pistol, I'll probably start my own reloading.dayo wrote:I purchased about 2500 rounds from Collins Cartridge Company and honestly so far I have had 0 FTF or other issues with their ammo. it was all fmj .40 and 9mm. I've shot perhaps 1200 or so so far.
They are quite easy to deal with as well - you can avoid shipping charges and just swing by for pre-arranged pickup (they work out of a residence's garage).
All in all, the price was competitive and the brass is all major manufacturer.
