Re: First visit to Bullet Trap in Plano. My Experiences

Right on about their CHL class. It fully prepared us for the test and was informative and interesting over and above the pure legal material. And in general their range safety officers are great guys who appear to love their work. And try hard to keep anyone from getting kilt. My only complaint is that they have all these guns I want but can't afford, right out there where I have to see them.

I have had some friendly helpful people but for the most part they seem to have this holier-than-thou sence of self and tend to look at you like an idiot when you ask what they feel is a stupid question.
I'm sorry, I'm asking for a reason. I know I'm not the most knowledgeable person on guns but don't chastise me for asking a questions and making me feel stupid for asking in the first place and trying to learn.
Perhaps you should have said something to management. I don't believe they permit the help to shoot critics. As to stupid questions, I am in there often enough that I hear some really idiotic questions that make you roll your eyes. Maybe they are oversensitized to stupidity. Like a frail nearly blind 90 year old guy wanting to buy a 357 magnum for concealed carry self defense. There are days I would pay them just to let me hang around and watch, especially on the range.

Re: First visit to Bullet Trap in Plano. My Experiences

Some folks might object to their rigorous range rules. Personally I like them because I really don't want to get killed by some idiot on the range.
