In Tucson today a federal judge declared Jared Loughner, who killed six people and injured 12 in a shooting in Tucson in January, incompetent to stand trial. The judge ordered Loughner remanded to a secure psychiatric facility to determine whether he could be medicated and made fit to stand trial. Another hearing was scheduled for September.
