I can't say that I've ever heard of laser sights being a factor in a criminal prosecution or lawsuit. A district attorney or plaintiff's attorney will use anything to prop up a case, including caliber and ammunition type. However, that kind of thing doesn't seem to work with juries in Texas.

You have something on your side, namely, claiming that you have a disability.
