Turkey: Man shot with "car key gun" that passed security

In Turkey today the defendant in a criminal case was shot in the courtroom during the trial and lost an eye.

The alleged shooter was a business partner of the victim that the defendant is accused of killing. He used a "car key gun" that was capable of firing two cartridges, which he got through courthouse security.

This was a new one on me. Apparently this was the weapon used:

They are reportedly cheap and legal in Bulgaria, which happens to be conveniently close to where the shooting occurred.
