The detectives or district attorney's office ought to be talking to you. You might want to ask them whether you need to worry.

I think you are brave and lucky. You risked your life and saved strangers from injury and possibly death.

Now make sure the newspaper finds out. Also inform the Armed Citizen at 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030-9400. (I think they require independent documentation.)

I can't see that you did anything tactically wrong, but I'm just an armchair expert.

How far do you live from the crime scene? I'd be worried about the perps or their families seeking retribution.
