I am interested in a future course (will be traveling during this October class) like this. I had taken a NOLS - Wilderness Medical Class (16-hours) a number of years ago, and it wasn't just the specifics covered during that class, which were excellent - it was the confidence gained that was very important. It turned out that I had several oportunities within the first six months after that class (one was on an American Airlines flight) to use some of the training. We don't need these skills until something happens - and then it's suddenly too late if you haven't made the decision to train and be prepared! Best of luck for a great class.
