Re: disclosure of medical records to employer
What you dont want the government to have your DNA and Fingerprints on file? Now can I see your papers citizen? Thats funny. As part of my US citizenship application I had to undergo a background check and then biometric collection. Here is the kicker, I'm a now a US citizen, but apparently a secon...

Now I'm wishing I bought the .45Keith B wrote:That is the difference in a high pressure round (40 ca at max ~32,600psi) vs a lower pressure round like the .45 (21,000 psi max.) The recoil on the 45 will usually be much more manageable.

Re: Man this sure carries nice!
Nice gun
I carry the PM40, its a mean one to master. Not much of a grip for my large hands and kicks like a mule. It took a few weeks to finally feel as comfortable with it as I do with my XD45.
I thought my .40 kicked, I bet that .45 does for sure.

For those on the fence, the belt looks like this one, and worth the money:

Re: CCW Breakaway Pants
So I was fortunate enough to attend the SHOT shot for a few days. That place is a serious firearms overload. Anyway, I saw one product that I thought everyone might want to take a look at for concealed carry. The website is: http://www.ccwbreakaways.com . Basically, these are dress pants/khaki's th...

You could wear them with the concealed carry shirts we saw. http://www.concealed-designs.com/about.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The website leaves a lot to be desired, but, if you can get the video to load, you can see what they have. I like the concept, but not onl...

Re: How many carry more than one gun?
I only carry one. I cannot imagine drawing my first and it malfunctioning and then having time to draw a second. Its a discipline to always wear one, two would be too inconvenient and would not fit my lifestyle. I'm not LEO, special ops, or dirty harry; I'm just a 30 something guy who is too idle to...

Re: CW40 Kahr Slide lock problem
when i load the mag, i chamber the first found with the slide lock. when i pull the slide back and it ejects the round it should slide back forward and chamber the next round right? and not get stuck again? Well yeah kinda. In action (when shooting), YES. When doing it manually you have to simulate...

Re: How to choose a belt
I swear by the 5.11 tactical brand. I bought 4 inches larger than my waist and it fits great. Unless you intend to try before you buy then buy bigger than your waist, you can always punch an extra hole in it - you cannot stretch a belt that is too small. Maybe this is anecdotal, but all my quality b...

Re: How to make sure the airlines don't lose your luggage
I'd read something similar before and thought it was a great idea. However, over the years I've had friends I have met at various gun courses and shoots who had their firearm 'lost' (stolen) by the airlines whilst on route. When you fly with your handgun you run the risk of having it stolen. I alway...

Re: CW40 Kahr Slide lock problem
You disassemble the magazine by pushing and holding in the round pin on the magazine floorplate and pushing the floorplate forward off the magazine tube. This will allow the spring and follower to be removed. If you have not done this before, please do this carefully! The spring may fly out, so mak...
