Although they do not have the same levels of fit and finish as the EMP's they are great shooters and reliable. I have been trying to buy some from my distributors for 2 years now and have yet to get even one in my hands so if you go that route soon as you see one grab it fast.... Good luck with your decisions and shopping adventures........ research is half of the enjoyment in buying a new firearm..
Thanks for the clarification, guys. Was looking at 3" .45's and the guys in the gun store tried to steer me toward the EMP's. I looked but really wanted the .45 and one of them told me they had it in .45 as well. Liked it and bought it. But it does indeed say Micro Compact. I do believe it is the same size though, right?

Re: Emp or 938

For me, the choice is easy. I have an EMP .45 that is my everyday carry. There is nothing I don't like about it. Carries well, shoots well. Stainless slide is moisture resistant. I did spend an extra $40 to have a gunsmith slick it up (polish feedramp, chamber roof, breechface, extractor) and lighten the trigger a bit (3.75 lbs).
FWIW, I believe the .45 is the same size as the 9 mm and .40 versions.
