Re: Sig P320 un-commanded discharges
Thank you for the replies. I have had no issues with my pistol but wanted to know if I should be watching for a potential problem.

Re: Sig P320 un-commanded discharges
Is anyone aware of this happening with a M17 or M18 with the thumb safety in the safe position?

Re: Deputy Sheriff Aids ATF in Gun-Part Confiscation
I did a search online and found that the manufacturers in question (Rare Breed Triggers and Rare Breed Firearms) were manufacturing complete ARs that are equipped with a trigger assembly that will allow the AR to function in a fully automatic mode. They also sell the triggers separately for installa...

Re: Midterm Election
Voted today (Brazoria County). The voting machines looked almost the same but when I signed in to vote, they gave me a full size piece of paper to insert into the voting machine. Once I made my selections, the voting machine printed all of them on the piece of paper. I had to take the piece of paper...

Re: Wanting a comfortable IWB holster suggestion
I have tried a number of different IWB holsters that mount on the strong side (3-4 o'clock). My favorite by far is the Milt Sparks VM II. I won't consider anything else now as I have a big enough box of other holsters that don't get worn and don't want to add to it. Milt Sparks holsters are expensiv...

Charles,
Thank you for sharing this. It will be interesting to watch this chess game play out. I hope that these rogue agencies will be stripped of the power that they don't rightfully have.

Re: 3 Drills for Concealed Carry
The version of high ready we are taught at CSAT (Paul Howe) has the hands lower and in a position where we can fully perform target descression. Paul goes through the options and explains why this is his preferred position. I listen to someone that spent 10 years in Delta and was involved in all of ...

Re: Global Warming/Global Cooling/Climate Change
Steve, This Global Warming/Global Cooling/Climate Change is a bunch of nonsense. Do a search on You Tube for Dr. Steven Koonin. Look for the interview with John Anderson and the presentation from the Steamboat Institute Energy and Climate Policy Summit in March 2022. The short of it is that he went ...

Re: Help Identify Bullet
I remember seeing old rimfire ammo that was made by Peters back in the day and, from what I remember, the head stamp looked like that. Is the base the size of rimfire ammo?

Re: debit card / credit card
I won't have a debit card for the reasons mentioned. Having a card with a chip does not eliminate the problem either. I was told by a card company to only buy gas where the card can be tapped. Nothing is without issues so I keep several cards so that I have a back up just in case.

and now Trump's own staffers have told him he was delusional, and you still believe his delusion. I recently watched an interview of Bill Barr done by Uncommon Knowledge (Hoover Institute). Barr stated that Trump was warmed early on that the left would do things to steal the election and that he ne...

Re: How Many Reloads Should A Private Citizen Carry? POLL
I rarely carry a second gun but always carry spare ammo (two magazines). Some of the training I have had taught me that, if engaged in a self defense shooting, I should reload just as soon as there is a break in the action. Reasoning on that is that the bad guy/s may had a buddy that gets mad and de...

Project Appleseed Certificate
Free to someone that will use it (not for resale). I got a certificate last fall, at the Waco Tactical Fitness Biathlon Run and Gun, for a 1 or 2 day Appleseed, 1 or 2 day Lady Appleseed, or a 1 or 2 day Known Distance Appleseed class. I was told that Appleseed would be coming to the Houston area bu...

Re: How Many Reloads Should A Private Citizen Carry?
"but those same arguments are even better arguments for carrying a backup gun" If I carried a spare gun, I would want a duplicate of the 1911 I carry so that manual of arms is consistent. Carrying 2 1911s would be bulky (hard to conceal) and heavy as compared to two spare magazines. Most p...

Re: Uvalde School shooting
I took a Response to Active Shooter Class 5-6 years ago. I was expecting the class to be full of teachers but there was not a single teacher in the class. About 80% of the class was law enforcement (and a judge thrown in for good measure) with a hand full of us civilians. I asked about the class mak...
