According to Garden Grove police, officer responded at 9:08 a.m. to a call about a homeowner in the 9000 block of Chapman Avenue struggling with an intruder. Moments later, it was reported that the homeowner was armed and “possibly” had shot the suspect.

When police arrived, they arrested the suspect – a parolee at large – for residential burglary,
