Re: Opinion on Virginia one-hour online CHL valid in Texas.

Why bother? Just get an Inflatable Kayak Pancho

If I didn't have a TX CHL(not licensed under Ch. 411 Govt Code) and wanted to carry, even past a 30.06 sign, I'd probably just carry concealed in an inflatable kayak which was deflated, though you still lose the Federal school zone GFSZA exclusion.
Really any small kayak would probably do, but carrying concealed an an inflatable kayak that was deflated might be easier to get through doors etc.

or

(2) the person is:

(A) engaged in criminal activity, other than a Class C misdemeanor that is a violation of a law or ordinance regulating traffic or boating;

Why do you carry around a deflated inflatable watercraft everywhere?
Linus has his blanket, I have mine, I just carry it. (no license required, no 30.06 sign worries)
:lol:

So, a 30.06 sign specifically says it pertains to persons licensed under Chapter 411 Government code and so if someone is NOT, (say they carry under a deflated inflatable watercraft) . or carry under another State's license but are not licensed under Chapter 411 Government code ...

I'd rather have an inflatable kayak, what good is a Virginia license in a flood/hurricane etc?
:headscratch :lol::

I know, ...The "inside of" a vehicle/watercraft ... I'm thinkin' that's why you need to deflate it, "to wear it" ...
Ok, I need to patent the "Inflatable Kayak Pancho" or the "Inflatable Pancho Kayak"
I can sell them at gun shows, no license/course needed, ignore 30.06 signs, :hurry:

Re: Opinion on Virginia one-hour online CHL valid in Texas.

:headscratch Experience taught me, and I usually figure something so cheap and easy won't do me much good; A Virginia online license is totally worthless compared to my Valid TX CHL when I'm picking up my niece at school here in TX. and I rarely find reason to go out of the Republic of Texas any more, Louisiana and Vegas have my money I used to have so ... it's better to stay close to home (civilization and rational thinking people) anyway :txflag: :mrgreen:
