WTS-DFW...Help me out...Fire Sale Sig 556 DMR, X5, Kimber
Well, there wasn't a fire, but my work screwed up and I've gone without a paycheck for over a month now, and I've got bills to pay. It'll be hard to part with these, but I believe that my problems with my work shouldn't be the problem of those I'm financially responsible to. I prefer FTF cash deals ...

NIB Sigarms P229 Elite 9mm. Frisco, TX
Sig platinum elite 9mm, new in box. I'm an ex-Sig dealer, this one is factory new, and unfired outside the factory. It's got the usuals, aluminum grips (can swap for plastic if desired), combat adjustable night sights, 2 mags, sticker :p I was planning on keeping this one but my kids computer died a...

My CHL expired... Still ok to carry in my car?
Stupid me let my CHL expire. Just checking to make sure it's still ok to have a loaded gun concealed in my car, and what the requirements are for telling LEOs if I get pulled over are.
Thanks in advance,
-Ted

Re: A disappointing State Fair episode 10-1-09
My experience yesterday was identical to keller999's. Not discreet at all, had a group of us go stand by a tree. Wait for grumpy-gus to come take down our info. I went along with it, but the fact that I woke up thinking about it today tells me that it's really bugging me and something needs to be do...

Re: WTS: Sig X-5 Competition; LNIB; only 50 rounds through it
(many shops are only selling the gun w/ one mag as they are $90/ea)
Bump for a fantastic gun at a great price.
The X5's are worth every penny--hands down the best gun Sig makes.

HELL of a raffle going on over at Sigforum
There's a fantastic raffle going on over at Sigforum to help out a member in need:
http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/ ... 031331/p/1
Guns and accessories and other stuff being raffled.
Even if you don't know the guy, it's still a heck of a deal to get in on.

Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol
'Disturbed' a few posts up offers some great options... No offense, but it sounds like the gun you bought simply wont work well for the purpose you intended. Start over, define how you're willing to carry and find a gun that fits you and those requirements. I did the same thing with my first pistol,...

Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol
Concealing any handgun is easily possible depending on your wardrobe choices. Concealing a full sized gun without a belt would be very difficult, if not down right dangerous (Mexican carry anyone?). I'm gathering that you're unwilling to adjust your clothing just to conceal a firearm, so you need to...

Re: indoor range
The "NRA Range Source Book" is a good place to start... Also, the National Shooting Sports Foundation and National Association of Shooting Ranges http://www.nssf.org rangeinfo.org You'll find alot of good info at rangeinfo.org. Also the SBA is a good reference. You'll need a good business ...
