A pistol round could be effetive at 100 yards; a rifle round is effective at 100 yards.

Don't know about gettig any kind of real accuracy out to 100 yards without a stock. I have used the Israeli sling method and an hit man sized target but can't get COM shots every time. Still I like my AK pistol and with a good flash suppressor, the muzzle becomes less of a flame thrower. Here's mine, Draco pistol with Midwest Idustries extended rail system, Bushnell TRS-25, US Palm grip, and YHM 7.62QD muzzle device.
