I'm in Houston and if I'm not at work, its shorts and t-shirts or fishing shirts, flip flops, or Chuck Taylors. However; my family has several hundred acres in Junction that I try to "escape" to as often as possible. The only time I have shorts on out there is when I step outta the truck coming in from Houston. As soon as we unload, it jeans and boots for the rest of the trip. I have had a cactus thorn go through a pair of reef's and it is not fun. I have ridden an ATV through a mesquite patch with shorts on and lost nearly a pint of blood from unclothed legs Some things you only have to do once.
