I got a deck of cards from the dollar store and took them out shooting last weekend. Stapled a card to a stake and shot at distances of 28 feet, 46 feet, and 70 feet with iron sights. Now that was a fun range session. And you can't beat 52 targets for a dollar.

It is quite a release, d strokes. I can't be held responsible if you find yourself wanting to do it again though :)

Yep we cleaned up afterwards and made sure to do it right since there is some nasty gunk in them. But my word it was fun.

Fun with a broken laptop
A friend recently bought a DPMS Panther .308 and we decided to break it in on a 10 year old broken laptop. I also used this as an opportunity to test out the Tech Sights I installed on my Marlin Model 60.
Range from shooter to target was 60 feet. Enjoy.
