Doublecheck before you buy, but I'm pretty sure that's accurate. I can't remember if the holes in the receiver line up for accessories like sidesaddle shell carriers but I think they do.hirundo82 wrote:I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.

The H&R Protector shares a lot of parts (I believe everything but barrels and mag extensions) with the Remington 870.
