I did not see anyone answer the issue of him no having the gun on him. If I have a gun in the car NOT on me, and I do not have a CHL I do not have to tell the officer anything. Sooooooooo if I have a CHL and the gun is not on my person I should not have to show my CHL,,,,, right???

I got my responce. They said my last background check cleared yesterday and my license was sent off to the printers!! :anamatedbanana So he said give it about 2 weeks to get it from the printers. If they say pending background check. I wont understand how a backgroud check can take 2 mo. since I have lived in the Austin area since I was about 8. Its not like they have alot of places to check.
