If this child were educated on proper handgun safety it is way more likely that this incident could have been avoided. I have taught (and continue to teach) my 8yr about handgun safety and I know for a fact she would never do this (also she would not have access to one). It is sad that parents will be so negligent with something so precious (kids, not the guns)
