Re: Need advice for new handgun
Thanks for all the replies and helpful info that you guys provided. It really did help and got me to look at things on all handguns I wouldn't have thought of. While neither of these two guns are off my list, and through all my research I have added quite a few more that I would like to own in the f...

Need advice for new handgun
Before I start, please don't shoot me for causing any debates on which is better. I have tried to narrow it down myself, but both are damn good pistols and if I could get both I would..but unfortunately i can't. So...Glock 19 or S&W M&P :leaving . I chose these 2 because out of all the firea...

Cylinder and Slide thumb safety?
Was wanting to change out the thumb safety to an extended thumb safety and figured id change out the stock plunger assembly while its already out seeing as they only cost around $10 at midway. I was wondering if the Cylinder and Slide brand was a decent one to choose or if I should spend a few extra...

Re: Recenter a Rifle scope
Thanks for all of the quick replies. This is actually my second bushnell banner scope, the first being a 1.5-4x variable power same rings as I have now. That scope I got zeroed in a couple of shots without issue, I just wanted more zoom so I took it back for this one(3-9x). I also have a bushnell tr...

Recenter a Rifle scope
I just bought a el cheapo bushnell banner 3-9 variable pwr scope. I took it to the range last night to zero it in on my AR. First shot hit low right in tight group, so I adjusted the windage left 2" and then it started hitting even further right, So I adjusted back to the right to see if I coul...

Re: Need some info on this .22LR think its a glenfield 75.
Thanks for the replies. There is no attachment to the gun, so ill just get a mag tube for it. However, I cannot find out the actual size of the tube I need and there are a few different sizes on midway. I thought about putting a wire or dowel down the tube on the rifle and measuring how far it goes ...

Re: Need some info on this .22LR think its a glenfield 75.
Do you have any pictures of it? Not at the moment. After messing with it a bit, the action has a gummy feel to it and I wonder if the last owner got some stain in it or if its just lack of oil. I think Ill take it to a gunsmith to get it looked over and cleaned before firing it since I dont know a ...

Need some info on this .22LR think its a glenfield 75.
My uncle has this 22 Rifle with a wooden stock but the past owner stained the stock, and it sealed over some of the model information and I need to get a new magazine tube for it. From what I can make out it appears to be a Glenfield 75 as I can make out the Marlin, Glenfield, 75, and 22LR only. I r...

Re: What is considered "...premises under the person's contr
I AM NOT A LAWYER. THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE. I think they'd be pushing the spirit of the statute right up to the edge of the envelope if they were to carry (without CHL) in a vacant house they were remodeling. Is it really "under their control" I guess would be the legal question. What if...

What is considered "...premises under the person's control"
Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I was looking over the carry law as it pertains to non-chl holders and have a question I couldn't google an answer to. "A person commits an offense of unlawfully carrying a weapon if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries a handgun on o...

Re: Thinking about buying an AR
Thanks for the info guys, lot of helpful info. From what I have read, it didnt seem that the ARs are brand dependent but i wanted to make sure there wasnt some lurking in the shadows and thats why they were less expensive than the others. I have a SW 637 38sp+p and springer XD9mm and ever since I bo...

Thinking about buying an AR
I checked gunbroker.com and it seems that SW MP15, Bushmaster, and DPMS Panther Arms are around the same price and are less expensive than the others for sale. Are these decent models or something I should stay away from? what are some decent price ranges for experienced rifles?

Re: 1911 JHP Issue
1. I concur with using the Wilson mags. (only mags I use in 1911s) 2. After you put 500-1000 rounds of fmj through the gun, it will finish the ramp polish job and you are even less likely to have feed issues. Just got back from the range and had 0 malfunctions. Everything I put in it fed perfectly ...
