FYI -- I found MUCH better rates at the Hampton Inn Houston Hobby Airport hotel. Only something like a third of a mile from the conference.

Rooms at the DoubleTree can be had for about $98/night + tax if you book through one of the discounted travel sites. I used Hotels.com.

I guess you'll have to teach me how to use that site. Looks to me that the price is the same $166+tax that I got when using the Hobby Hilton site.
