If you are buying a full auto for self-defense... don't. It is not practical and downright dangerous if you have bystanders or hostage situations. However, if you are considering buying one as an INVESTMENT, then consider buying a working Gatling gun in pristine condition. These things are rare and has always appreciated in value. They no longer make them, so they're only going to get more rare. The M16 is an awful choice. They are everywhere and plentiful. They still make them. They will probably go down in value.
