I don't understand why they needed my driver license information and phone number just to buy some gun lube at the Bullet Trap? I can understand the need for that information if I'm buying a gun, but for lube? Then, when I showed it to them, I requested that he not put my phone number in a database. He nods uh, huh, and continues to type on his keyboard. So, if I get telemarketers calling me, I'll know who to blame. BTW, I was using cash, not a credit card.

I've found the older employees at the DFW Gun Range to be more helpful and more respectful of my privacy. However, any gun shop or range always uses snooty, rude pimply faced kids. It's like some unwritten rule or something.

Well, except for the Plano Pawn Shop, their young 'un employees are pretty helpful and courteous.
