On the pistol that is carried on that particular day it gets a wipe down/inspection before it goes in the holster and when it comes out of the holster at night for bed side duty.

Safe residents all get a wipe down/inspection every week with cleanings when needed, seems like one or two a weekend or if its a rainy weekend that number goes up.

Any firearm that gets shot recieves a cleaning within 48 hours and if it shoots corrosive ammunition the cleaning begins soon as I get in the door from the range.
