At my local Wally World (NW Houston), they're actually really helpful in the sporting goods section. They recently instituted a policy of "two boxes per customer per day" which throws a damper on my stockpile plans, however.

Houston area ranges?
We just moved to Houston and are looking for shooting ranges. I've heard that there aren't really that many and that what there is often charge by gun, not by lane. Where are your favourite ranges in Houston? Thanks!

My family's still in Dripping Springs and I visit them often. We'd love there to be a range nearby. Red's (Oak Hill) just isn't what it used to be.

I've just joined the Army and head off to BCT in January. My wife and I will not be living on base once I get my first station. I'm not sure how this works, but let's say I check my gun in at the armory. When I leave base, I go check it out, right? Unable to technically concealed carry until off bas...
