Re: DD-214
How long is a person eligible for the veteran discount with DPS? Is the DD-214 all that is needed? I am asking for my father who was in the Army many years ago. Any info is appreciated. As far as I know, an honorably discharged veteran is always eligible for the discount. I was Honorably discharged...

Re: Fort Worth Museum of Science and Natural History
There was a lot of hands-on stuff for kids; that seems to be the main focus of the place. I took mine, and he seemed to enjoy it. There just didn't seem to be that much for adults; very few exhibits of actual articles to look at. Instead, mostly interactive exhibits. There are a few neat things in ...

Re: Relatively new CHL from Keller + Holster ?
Thanks for the info. I've checked out their site as well as the site for Cross Breed holsters. I think an IWB side holster at 2 or 4 o'clock may be better for me than my current comfort-wise, and it will most likely allow for easier access.

Re: Got pulled over by Keller'a finest
I've only been pulled over once since getting my CHL and I was let off with a warning. I'm not sure whether it was because I was on my Crusier, I had a CHL, or because it was December, but the Euless officer lectured me on not wearing a helmet and to slow it down and let me go. I was going 70 in a 3...

Relatively new CHL from Keller + Holster ?
Hello everyone, I had a question about conceal carry holsters. I carry an XD(M) .40 and currently use a "Smart Carry" holster that hides in my crotch (It has it's own elastic and velcro band to hang off my hips). It's very comfortable, unless I'm sitting in my vehicle or on my bike. The pr...

Re: Help with wife
This is a question that I have been putting off asking for awhile. I had hoped that I could answer it on my own but so far no luck. My question is: What can I do to help my wife see why I got my CHL and why I want to carry it everywhere that it is legal for me to? Alittle back ground: I have been m...
