I agree with her that maybe now is a good time to step back, take a breath, and look for other venues she can contribute to... I'm thinking U.S. Congress...Give her a chance to explore that with less distractions...And we might benefit once again from her passionate view on 2A... Jeez. After all sh...

point
An interesting point, of course, is that schools can already prohibit students and employees from bringing a firearm onto campus, including parking areas, simply by writing policies to that end. Conversely, any school that wanted to could write a policy permitting concealed carry, etc, on premises. ...

That gets much more difficult if you get caught in Austin or Houston. My advice for travelers is get a ...

Proposed legislation
HB 362, by Talton, would require that anyone accepting a driver's license as ID must accept a Texas CHL for the same purpose.
Largely symbolic, given that the Texas CHL isn't valid without a Texas DL or ID.

What we really need...
What we really need, of course, is national reciprocity and a uniform set of concealed carry rules. I remember when I first started driving the rules in each state were different. I.e. some states allowed right turn on red, some didn't; the traffic control signs were different; etc. Then Congress ca...
