O.K., Here is the verdict. I was able to carry into Mardi Gras. I talked to the guy doing the wanding and he wasn't sure so he pointed out an LEO to talk to and the LEO wasn't sure but told me to go ahead. He asked me if I was going to drink and shoot up the place(just kidding with me) lol. There are no gun signs what so ever at the gate entrance. So hope this helps everyone in doubt.

Well, I never got a correct response from any law enforcement agency so I am going as if it is legal. Will post results tomorrow morning and let all know the out come.

A friend of mine went this past Friday and they were wanding so he elected to take his back to his vehicle. I am going this weekend and I haven't found a definite answer anywhere. I called Galveston Police Department and got passed around to 3 different people and none could give me an answer. If anyone knows for certain could you please advise. Thanks
