Keep in mind that "iReport" is comprised of video reports from normal people not formally affiliated with the media, and that CNN has not cleared these as being accurate in any way shape or form *unless* their "stamp of approval" is on it. That said, the anger at this report shouldn't necessarily be directed at CNN, but rather at the poster of this "news".XtremeDuty.45 wrote:CNN had a link to their iReport site and their report said it was friggin terrorist who stole uniforms and attacked the base by conducting surveillance...
I love the accuracy of the media today. It seems they will say anything to be heard.
I am so sorry to hear that all dead and wounded (except the police officer) were the soldiers who fight for us so that we do not have to. They should not have to worry about one of their own turning on them, and my thoughts are with the families of those who will not be coming home tonight.
Rotgirl - MSNBC will probably report that the next logical step is banning all weapons from military bases, right?

Those shooters could use their own weapons or gov't-issued weapons but it doesn't matter in the end - they used lethal weapons on other human beings for no reason. It's not the weapon's fault but the shooter's fault. I wish I could say I'm hopeful for reporting leaning more towards the view of "guns don't kill people, people kill people" but I know that's not the most probable outcome.
