I was amazed at how many people failed to insert the magazine, chamber a round, lock it open, and then eject the magazine in front of the class. One student got kicked from the range and denied their RENEWEL for swinging the gun side to side after it jammed and then told the instructor that is was not loaded as he grabbed her arm and directed it back downrange. His response "unloaded guns kill people everyday". Can't say it much better than that.Search found 2 matches

Last year about a month after Ike came through I was at Academy looking at guns. This dude walks up to the counter with a fanny pack and asks to see a pistol out of the case. The associate put it on the counter and the dude pulls out his gun to compare the two. The associate's jaw almost hit the counter and told the guy that he could get in serious trouble for that. The guy responded "Don't worry, I have a CHL" and pulled it out to show him. Needless to say he was told to leave the store. I tried to avoid the parking lot for a while after that... NOT a good move.
