I though I read they got everyone.
My reason for being in this forum is I got my CHL after I was at my local bank when two masked men ran in.
My robbers were practiced professionals. These guys were amateurs, which is why they got caught. That and bad luck. Supposedly a citizen saw them run into the bank wearing masks and called the police. That is one of the reasons the police were at the scene so quickly.
My robbers were the quick snatch and grab kind of guys. They had cased the bank apparently a few days before and also knew there was a back door.
If these guys had left by the back door (I betcha there was a back door) they would have also done better. Since the bank manager refused to open the cash vault it took longer while they beat him. My robbers just took the money that was in the teller drawers, they were gone in 30 seconds. Their getaway car was also parked in back waiting for them.
My bad guys were covered head to toe with loose fitting clothes, even gloves and scarves covering their necks (we suspect they had tats everywhere) all the extra clothes were discarded along with the dye packs and radio transmitters once they left from the back.
I only got alarmed when I heard the women screaming, I felt very helpless at that point, but then they were gone and it was over as quick as it started.
I realize I was lucky. These poor people, although they were not hurt except the brave branch manager, will carry these emotional scars for a long time. Its one thing to have a gun pointed at you and know they are not after you and its totally another to survive being a hostage with your mind imagining all kinds of horrible situations. And then when you think it is over, it really isn't as the police don't really know your not a bad guy.
I still don't feel as safe anywhere as I once did. You realize that the calm life you live can change in an instant.

Re: Pearland bank robbery/hostage situation
Fox link said it was over with no injuries other than the bank manager who was beaten to try and get him to open the safe. Both suspect in custody.
Police officer arrived within two minutes robbers were leaving when he arrived, fired at the officer, then both retreated into the bank again and took five hostages. Three employees were hidden in a closet the whole time.
No mention of any CHLForum members still attempting to put that first round in the chamber as the situation ended.
In addition to bank robbery and assault, these BG's added multiple kidnapping and attempted murder of a police officer to their resumes.
