Re: TX: a good start discovered in Georgetown
Has anyone realized that the amount of ammo is interesting but it is not illegal? It is not illegal even if the person is also carrying drugs. I am very curious about the fact that the Sheriff is making it sound like a big bust but the ammo is 100 percent legal to have and carry. I don't have 50BMG...

Re: Wearing a mask while LTC
I took care of that. Born, raised, married, divorced, married again in Fort Worth. Had enough had to leave before I could retire. Much happier in Parker County. Dropped 900sqft and a set of stairs, lost a Mayor that wants to be Dallas West cut my taxes and utilities. I don’t need to go into Tarrant ...

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement
I know from Jacks classes that that the first guy shot must have gotten complacent since their security team had been in place for about 10 years. I normally try to not have to go through multiple layers of cloth to reach my carry weapon. He had to go under a sport coat and a shirt tail both drawing...

Re: TX: Insane truck crash video in Lubbock Co.
Man that Flir system is pricey List is close to $3400 street prices about $2500. A couple of others from $500-$1500. I’ve got a Flir camera for work and that IS their primary business so I know their technology and quality is above par.

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement
Took my initial licensing class with my wife at Jacks place on 377 and went there with my sons shooting. Paid for both of their first licensing classes with Jack. Man I miss that place, convenient, and great people to deal with in his shop. Glad at he had the composure to take that head shot as COM ...

Re: Church shooting in Tarrant County - White Settlement
Glad the church had a active security team on hand. The WSCC is just north of an area of Fort Wirth that has been allowed to become a very rough area. In the late 60’s early 70’s there were a number of large apartment complexes and townhouses built with high-end rent rates. All those apartments are ...

Makes perfect sense, remove potential victims and no more problems. Just expand it to ban all law abiding citizens from legal activities from the streets.

Why would you only have 2 rounds in a carry self defense weapon? Never less than 20 rounds when shopping between the wife and I, and usually more.

Re: Walmart has fallen!
Adding WalMart to my Sprouts and Dicks BAN. I used to spend about $1500 a month between Sams, WalMart and their little Market. Until now. Target and HEB are the new winners of my Lotto along with Academy and my neighborhood gun shop.

Picked up a couple of old family heirlooms.
My great granddads old .32 pocket carry on the ranch. S&W reissue date of Jan ‘82 . He carried it well into the late 1940’s. His older brother was murdered by rustlers on the homestead before he was born by rustlers in the 1860’s. Got it and my granddads old .22. First rifle I ever shot a squirr...

Grandson in from Basic
My 21 yo grandson came in from basic for a 30 day medical leave to heal a broken leg. We went test driving side arms at one of the local ranges. Had a great day of running about 1000 rounds of stale target ammo downrange through a number of different guns. including a couple of pistol caliber carbin...
