By the way...the salesman at Wally World in Hurst told me they had their sale on long guns / shotguns last weekend and then shipped them back up to AR and/or to the warehouse....he said their weren't making enough on each gun to make the space worthwhile...that was just his thought...he wasn't mgr of that area....
They haven't had handguns in quite long time he told me.
...Guess they sell enough ammo...all types to make it worthwhile....

Wow...hate to hear that....maybe we need to remind them how much CHLers are buying in ammo each year in the state!!cyphur wrote:The guy I talked to at Wally World, at that store they had already phased out firearms(St Francis and I30), and that would continue with all of their stores. He said in a year or so, from what he's heard, they won't carry ammo anymore either.

+1 HV!HighVelocity wrote:My sports authority does NOT carry anything firearm related.
The guy in the "hunting area" said that Sports Authority now wants just to focus of selling of baseball, football, soccer team uniforms for schools...n related shorts, etc.
Really not carrying much of anything at Midway and LBJ store....
Wally World across Midway @ LBJ was selling the WWB50 box 9mm for $6.00 something...maybe $6.77 believe that was it... and the $12.68 (up a buck from last time) on the WWB100 pack 9mm.
