My feeling as well, felt good in my hand but the trigger felt like my friends Sigma. The Glocks and XD's are my favorites in Plastic.txinvestigator wrote: And FWIW, I have not had the chance to shoot the S&W M&P, but I have handled one and felt the trigger. The ergonomics are great, but the trigger is terrible. It feels like the 30 pound Sigma Trigger.

My son has the XD-40 Service model, my brother has the 9mm Service and I just got my .45acp a week ago. All 3 shoot great You can't beat having 14 rounds of .45acp in your hands! In fact I shot the .45 tighter than the 9 and .40. Also you get a lifetime warenty with Springfield and after having a problem with the .40 I had purchased they actually replaced it with the .45acp. Great handgun and a great company. I have a Fobus Paddle Holster for it and BTW all 3 fit the holster..... so will the Compact models.
