If I were getting anther one:
- Ultra-compact 1911 (3" barrel). Very thin proven design in a 45. Some don't like the manual thumb safety and the 'light' ones are aluminum framed, tough. No polymer ones around that are affordable.
- Slim glock 40 caliber (don't know the model designation). Glocks always work.
- Ultra-compact springfield armory XD in 40 caliber. I've heard nothing but good stuff about all the XD pistols and my wifes' hasn't missed a beat in a 1000 rounds.
