Re: Duncanville Range

Bump.

P.S. I recommend this indoor range as well. Range rules are more about common sense and of course, the rules of safety. Rapid fire is allowed when being defined as match rapid fire, so that could be one shot per second. There is also a "no headshots allowed" but depending on who you are, and whether or not you are practicing Mozambique drills, I've not seen this rule enforced however I DO NOT SUGGEST TESTING THEM. The ranges are not manned by a range officer, but instead are monitored by cameras. Trust me, if you do something they don't like they will come and say something. If you are a responsible shooter, and demonstrate a strict adherence to safe gun handling, the staff at Bullseye are happy to leave you alone until you do something stupid like rapid fire your way into the ceiling.

The demeanors and harsh attitude exhibited by the staff is meant to intimidate idiots, not serious or seasoned shooters who just want to have a good time. They'll figure you out, I promise. You'll notice on numerous visits that their attitude towards you is directly related to how they feel about everyone else in the store at the time. The range gets its occasional gang-member stereotypes who have no idea what they are doing, and the staff is quick to be a nuisance to these people until they leave, or do something to get kicked out. The staff might pass this attitude to you, but only for show. The staff is no non-sense and do not tolerate idiots, and nor should they. I honestly feel safer at this range, given their proactive approach to questionable patrons. As you've probably experienced already at other ranges, there are some days where you are wary of the people next to you, who obviously don't know how to handle a firearm. The staff at Bullseye will take it upon themselves to give a crash-course on range etiquette to these folks. They are so straight-forward about it, you'll want to stop and listen to it yourself just to be entertained by their blunt delivery.

The store aspect of Bullseye is also worth the visit. One of those places where you visit just to see what they have at any given time. Prices are also competitive with some of the bigger stores in the DFW area.
