+1 As I recall, Perry didn't exactly come clean with all his intentions last election, (TTC, etc.) and Kay Bailout sure isn't trumpeting her own lack of conservative values right now either.

As for the "one of the common people" claims, remember that just as many awful politicians started out in blue-collar jobs as good ones.

She was at the OpenCarry BBQ last weekend and I was told she'd replace property taxes with an additional sales tax.

While she was at the BBQ, she had a six-gun on her hip. I suspect that It was borrowed because both the pistol the holster looked brand new and unused. I was definitely a nice looking rig, but she would have been a lot more believable (in my eyes) if she'd shown up with a reasonable concealed carry piece that was simply not concealed during the event (like everyone else did).

I like her, but the Republican party is solidly behind Perry, so she's pretty much on her own. The likelihood of success in the election is pretty low.
