Re: Kudos to President Obama
I think it's hilarious how the left villianizes Palin for "bringing down" McCain. That is just laughable drivel. McCain brought down McCain. :iagree: The only thing I will say about Paliin is that she didn't do much to help him, but quite frankly.... I don't think anyone could have helped...

Re: Congress' plan would allow Attorney Gen to 'ban guns at will
The fellow in the article that is purportedly a 2nd Amendment advocate seems woefully ignorant of political reality (Korwin). Throughout the article he lambasts the Democrats as being anti-gun, and states that Republicans need all the support they can get. He fails to recognize that the NRA support...

My employer specifically forbids ammo, handguns etc. anywhere on their property. I will have to think hard about this one when it it signed and into effect. I didn't realze it would involve giving notice to them. I have an exemplary record, so if I gave them this notice and they fired me, it would ...

Re: Intent of 30.06 signs
There is nothing in the law that forbids posting by government entities. The law just says that if a government entity does post, it has no effect on a CHL. (The statutory restrictions are still in effect: school buildings, meetings of governmental bodies, courts, etc.) Kevin Kevin, Thanks for that...

Because of perceived fallout at work, the disclosure requirements will effectively prevent me from being able to store my handgun in my locked vehicle at work. There must be some expectation that this information will benefit at least one of the parties involved but I just don't see what real value ...

I took a class with Ross Bransford and thought he did a very good job. We also went to the range in Manor for the shooting qualification.

Giuliani 2008: Stuck between a rock and a hard place
Early polls show Giuliani to be the front runner for the GOP in '08. I saw a bit of an interview (Sean Hannity, I believe) with him where he states that he is for required testing in order for one to be allowed to own any firearm. If one passes the test then one could own a firearm. Would a majority...
