Thank You Flint
I have to look to the younger generation for a word to describe yesterday, AWESOME! Even more so the day after when I have had time to reflect on it.
Let me see where to start, first, you have all heard about the guy who could go bear hunting with a switch, Flintnapper could take him and the bear at the same time! What was it Walter used to say ''no brag, just fact ''
Ya'll know by now when I write something it's usually short and sweet and without much window dressing, kinda like me, plain. This shouldn't be like that, I wish I had the word's to describe the Art's that I saw yesterday, all I can think of are VERY FAST and DEVISTATING. I didn't see any choreography or acrobatics, they weren't dancing, the take down's and throw's were to get away from severe pain or to keep from breaking something and they were taking it easy, it was obvious that bone's could have been broken. Thank God they didn't ask the old man to do the take down's, I got to just go through the motion's, slooow-motion.
Kenny, Jason and I decided on the way home that we needed to get in shape [ as in able to RUN FASTER ] and to get faster with our gun's.
Thank's again Flint and tell Eugene again I was seriously impressed.
As for stopping bye to see LT, we had a great time, a really good Texas Style Church Meeting with lot's of music and singing [ the old Traditional Hymn's that I like ] Good People who came to Worship and LT is dedicated and proud of his service, the growth of his new Church and it's Membership.
I have to testify that it was meant for us to stay for the Service and as usual the Sermon was preached just for me, looked right at me and told me that I had an enemy that I needed to forgive, so I did.
Just before we left those of us on the forum got in a huddle and LT led us in a Special Prayer for one of our own and his family.
Thank's LT, you are a friend.
This is more typing than I have done since the forum began but I can't end without saying that traveling with Kenny and Jason topped off an overall great experience, they took good care of ole Pop and even the travel part was fun.
Thank's Boy's
To the forum Member's, we have some really good people here on the forum, get out and shoot with and meet all of them you can in person, I guarantee it will be worth your while.
