Just sitting here thinking, Gwenn will argue that point , that I would like to know what Stephen Camp has to say about the XD9, his view's are always very thorough and detailed.

I bought a used XD9 last week thinking my Daughter might like to try one, she didn't care for it but I do, so far I like it much better than expected.
In my opinion
It dosen't seem to have the accuracy of my Colt's, Kimber's and Sig's but is very close, points much better than my Glock's [still not as good as the HI-Powers] and I really like the loaded chamber indicater, striker status pin and mag release, the mag's load into and release from the well better than any stock pistol I have ever owned, it's very easy to draw and get on target from a Comp-tac slide, I will have to just wait [years] and see if it will hold up as good as the Glock's.
It seems to be a very good mixture of things I like in my other guns.
Overall I am really high on this gun and have ordered extra mags and will buy another one. When I like something I want two of them.
