Re: What's in your range bag?
My range bag has: Eyes Ears Ammo Guns Rags/Paper Towels Oil/Boresnake Stapler Pens Tape/Targets :txflag: My list resembles yours. :tiphat: After today with the long guns, I am adding binoculars. I don't carry ammo in the bag because it is so heavy that it eventually makes the bag "sag" fr...

Re: Minotaur vs. Crossbreed
I've been researching this for a couple weeks as well and just came across the Minotaur tonight and I have to say....I'm kinda leaning more toward it at this point. I've heard rave reviews and happy buyer after happy buyer talk about thier crossbreed super tuck and how much they love it and I was p...

Re: Man accidentally kills himself at Red's in Pflugerville
Just heard the news say that he was a CHL'er. Oh no!!!! Do you have a link to the story? Do they know any more than they did yesterday? Like for instance what exactly happened to this guy? 63 Y/O and they gave a name. I thought about posting the name but after reading this thread didn't thinkthat w...

Re: Man accidentally kills himself at Red's in Pflugerville
I did not mean it to be funny. One of my best friends (and my employer) committed suicide 2 years ago. You've worked around ER's. My experience working around so much death and destruction is that it desensitizes you. Doesn't make it right but it is real. I've have questioned my own reaction toward...

Re: Took wife to the range
I have a theory that men should not teach their wife to shoot guns or drive standard transmissions, an arguement is sure to happen. I had Denton County Sports teach my wife, that way if Greybeard said no do it this way.... then I would not be yelling at her. :cheers2: She went through handgun 101, ...

...it was Eagle Peak (Outdoor range) Other than some Dummies, being dummies (Hey your friend is still down range, dont play with your gun) or (Hey guy at the 15 yard area, even though you aren't shooting, I need you to stand behind the yellow line, and NO I am not being over dramatic, dummy) ...

Re: IWB vs OWB in Texas
Can you shed any light on the position of the clips since you already use this rig? I bought the mag holder with the horizontal magazine pockets. The reason I did was that it seemed more secure to me, without giving up anything in access to the magazines. In fact, the vertical holders require unsna...

Re: IWB vs OWB in Texas
When I carry on my belt, I carry OWB most of the time these days - and that includes concealing a full-sized 1911. Think "long shirts." For IWB, I use a Minotaur MTAC from Comp-Tac . The advantage of this holster (and others like it) is that you can have one holster with different holster...
