I wonder if there is enough interest on this forum to have a group training session arranged - I'd be up for it...Excaliber wrote:I had discussed tactical trauma training with an exhibitor at the Plano gun show last weekend. He recommended Lonestar Medics as a good provider for such training in the DFW area. I don't know anything further about them, but will be contacting them in the next week or so.
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has experience with them.

Re: First aid kit questions
Well I ordered some Olaes bandages and some other bits and bobs from http://www.rescue-essentials.com/
Order placed 3pm 7th Jan, got the package 12th Jan.
All pretty low hassle, good prices, $4.99 flat rate shipping and good customer service (one item was out of stock and they contacted me for my preference on what to do). I got an 8% discount using the coupon code 'undead' which I found on the web.
Would use them again...

Re: First aid kit questions
Very interesting thread...
I came across this website while googlin' Olaes vs Israeli bandages - anyone have any experience with them ?
http://www.rescue-essentials.com/
They have alot of pre-prepared kits and all the usual supplies, and what looks like a $4.99 flat-rate shipping fee. I'm probably going to order some bits and pieces; will let you chaps know how it goes.
Cheers - SDS
