That's it. I announced to my family at dinner that we are moving to Utah. I will leave a forwarding address for DPS to mail the plastic!

Now, I'm taking bets that we can move to Utah, apply for a CHL in that State, and be legal before I get the Texas DPS plastic. All bets are welcome.

Edit: And I will need to send in a change of address for a license that I will get in the future. I bet that will cause a Hernia!

Do you think Christmas is a good estimate?

Well actually, for those of us in the July and August lines, I'd say Christmas is smack on the mark. You know there is about 6 paid holidays for all State agencies between now and the end of this year. Add some vacation time, sick time, personal leave, birthdays, etc., yeah ... Christmas is about right. I'm expecting returned finger prints because they were inked and maybe returned photographs. So I'm thinking 2010.
