Re: Federal ammo recall
Just for grins, I sent Remington the following email. Hello from Texas, Unfortunately, I bought 3 boxes of that recalled Federal .45 ACP (50 round box). Federal is swamped with calls and frankly is unable to provide me with any customer support. Would Remington consider an exchange for this recalled...

Brief Range Report - Sig P220 Carry SAS
This is a brief range report on my new P220 .45 ACP Carry SAS. Last night, I gave it a good cleaning and used Glide Slide as recommended in the instructions and on the GrayGuns website. I used the lite version since I intend for this piece to be my EDC. I shot 100 rounds of American Eagle 230 grain ...

Re: Federal ammo recall
I'm learning that the process to return this ammo is going to be a test of patience and fortitude. Long waits on the phone, leave a message for someone to call back. I'm guessing this is going to take weeks or months.

Re: July 2009 Applications
There was a post in another area of this forum that said that the printing and mailing steps have slowed down due to the volume. Seems like it may have added more days to the process. Here is the cut & paste quote. My friend who has been waiting for his plastic finally got fed up and called toda...

Re: July 2009 Applications
I tend to agree ... Friday of next week! Btw, anyone from the July class call DPS to see if any of these recent approvals have actually been processed? Maybe the applications are just approved! Oh ... what a terrible thought.Friday will be ya'lls day

Re: July 2009 Applications
I thought I have a few more weeks to finish some upgrade purchases like an 1 1/2" belt, CC vest, and a few other things. But DPS is so efficient right now, that I need to hurry up and get those things plus a few more items. Geez, what a problem to have!
