I voted both sides of the aisle for decades. I listened to the issues and the candidates and voted for the person. There were things in both party's platforms I felt I could support and things I didn't. But not now. As Reagan said, "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, it left me". If I wanted to live in a Communist disarmed nation, I would have moved. I will vote against the dems every time the polls are open from the President all the way down to the local dog catcher.jt88 wrote:Yep. I've been registered as a democrat my entire adult life. This year will be the first time that I don't vote for them in the presidential election. Obama told us that we need to become single-issue voters on the topic of guns, so I'm going to listen to him.Charles L. Re: Anyone watch the 4th democrat debate
I think that is because he offered the most free stuff someone else would pay for. I didn't watch the other dem debates and now I know why. It's hard on the blood pressure. The delusional ideas and the rabid anti-gun rhetoric along with shameless pandering to gullible low income voters was sickening. If our nation goes the rest of the way down the rabbit hole with the democratic party, I truly fear for the future.
