Not if they post 30.06 or other anti-CHL signs. Probably not for a lot of reasons. Yes because they don't post 30.06 signs and don't try to stop me from carrying, but if they did I would shop somewhere else.
Gun shows almost always post and public schools and universities are off limits. Now if one refuses to carry past a non-compliant sign based on the principle that that business refuses to respect one's right to carry, then in order to be consistent, that person must also refuse to patronize every business that refuses to allow their employees to carry. Essentially, one should have to avoid almost every building in the state, with the exception of a few gun ranges.

CHL is about legal carry, so why don't we just take advantage of the fact that Texas requires specific wording to keep us out.

Besides, these signs are required by TABC to be posted so it isn't like the establishment has a choice in the matter.
Thats not the sign people don't like. The other one, saying "no handguns", even though not legally enforceable clearly shows you the owner doesn't want guns there. Thats fine with me, I don't want my money there either. :tiphat:

If you think about it, there are practically no entities that really respect out right to carry; should we just stop then? Our right to carry is about the law, not individual's emotion-based opinions. It's a victory for the anti-gun crowd when a CHL voluntarily adds to the list of restricted places that he may carry.
